If you don’t have a “Copy to folder” and “Move to folder” entry in your edition of windows XP, when you click on any file or folder, you may want to give the following registry trick a try. Open a simple text editor such as notepad, and copy/paste or write manually [ though I don’t see why you would want to do that] the following entries:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Copy To]
@=”{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}”

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Move To]
@=”{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}”

Windows Xp registry tricks

Save the file to something like “XpAddCopyToMoveTo.reg”. Close your text editor, double click on the file you just created, and click on yes when windows asks you whether you are sure you want to insert the entry into the registry or not.

A reboot of the system is not even necessary, a simple logout and login will do, on some systems, the new entries in the right-click context menu appear instantly.
